LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Friday evening marked one of many final alternatives to see a planetary alignment, generally known as a planetary parade. Seven planets lined up within the evening sky.

On the Faculty of Southern Nevada’s Planetarium, spectators had the chance to make the most of the college’s telescopes and commentary space to view the alignment.

“We’ve had four or five planets in the sky several times since 2016,” Andrew Kerr, CSN’s Planetarium supervisor stated. “Seven is a little bit different. We won’t see that again until 2040.”

Telescope commentary is free, beginning after the planetarium’s 8:00 pm reveals.
