These funds are dedicated to advancing development for five months as part of their campaign to ultimately launch the game within a year.

The origins of ‘83 trace back to Antimatter Games before it closed its doors under Enad Global 7 in early 2023 along with several other projects like IGI Origins lying dormant afterward. Recognizing its dedicated following, Blue Dot decided at the end of 2023 to acquire rights over ‘83 as part of their commitment towards revitalizing this title into something extraordinary once again.
The Vision Behind ‘Accessible Realism’
‘The game’s core ethos focuses on delivering what we define as accessible realism—creating gripping multiplayer experiences where teams clash amidst exhilarating vehicle confrontations,’ noted CEO Gillham.
Each play session will span approximately 30-40 minutes, condensing milsim-style game mechanics into action-centric gameplay while eliminating non-engaging elements often found elsewhere.
