In Argentina’s Copa de la Liga Skilled, Alan Sonora began and performed 56 minutes for Independiente in a 2-1 loss to Estudiantes de la Plata. Independiente continues to be adjusting after the departure of star No. 10 Alan Velasco to FC Dallas. Alan’s older brother, Joel Sonora (a member of the 2015 U.S. U-20 World Cup crew) was an unused substitute for Velez Sarsfield in a 2-0 win over Aldosivi.
