From gambling and violent crimes to drinking and smoking, Americans can be found participating in a wide range of vices and illicit behavior regardless of where they’re at. That said, a recent report pins a Colorado city as one of the ‘most sinful’ places around.
WalletHub has released its list of the most sinful cities in the United States, and one Colorado city was included. Researchers compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 37 indicators of vices and illicit behavior, including violent crimes, excessive drinking, and the number of adult entertainment establishments.
Denver ranked as the sixth ‘most sinful’ city in the country. This ranking may come as a bit of a surprise, as the Mile High City is known for its proximity to Colorado’s great outdoors and exercise culture. However, data from WalletHub shows that Denver ranked third among the states when it comes to excessive drinking, and eighth for lust rank, which included metrics such as adult entertainment establishments per capita and teen birth rate.
Aurora and Colorado Springs were also included on the list at 67th and 79th place, respectively.
Las Vegas, Nevada ranked as the most sinful city in the United States.
