Pochettino ready to pick MLS players for national team.
Speaking to reporters ahead of tonight’s game, Pochettino insisted that he was willing to give opportunities to MLS-based players. The domestic league is enjoying a heightened status at the moment and there undoubtedly players worth considering within the league’s team.
“For me I am going to be happy to have most of them playing here in the MLS because I think after [getting] to know the MLS, it is not easy to play here, it’s very physical,” the new boss said.
“They have very good discipline, they train very well and why not? For me they’re going to have the same possibility playing in MLS than if they played in the Premier League or in LaLiga or in Belgium, in France.”
