Scheffler has been taking in the delights of Paris
The world number one posted pictures on his social media account of himself with wife Meredith and new son Bennett at the famous Louvre Art Museum and at the Seine river, location of the Olympic opening ceremony last week.
Scheffler has also been tasting the local delicacies, tasting the Parisian crepes and croissants.
The golfing superstar has even been showing off his tennis skills alongside caddie Ted Scott, commenting that they are ‘pretending we are Team USA tennis’ like USA flag-bearer Coco Gauff.
Scheffler supported his USA team-mates at the table tennis on Monday and is set to be in the stands for Tuesday’s gymnastics too.
But business will soon get serious for Scheffler as he prepares for the golf competition at Le Golf National.
Scheffler headlines a stacked field for the 2024 competition, which also includes Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and Jon Rahm, and has been selected by Team USA following a stellar season.
He claimed his second Masters title in April and has also won five times on the PGA Tour, including at The Players.
His last victory came at the Travelers Championship in June and he is the heavy favourite to claim FedExCup glory in late August.
Scheffler claimed a T7 finish at The Open recently as Olympic team-mate Schauffele secured a stunning win at Royal Troon.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed his week off but now knows it’s time to get serious.
He said: “It’s been a fun week so far.
“Obviously my biggest priority is showing up ready to play this week, but I definitely want to experience a little bit of the Olympics.
“We went and saw some table tennis, we explored Paris on Saturday – and I think we’re going to gymnastics [on Tuesday].
“But then when Wednesday comes around, we’ll really get strongly into tournament mode and that’ll probably be it for the festivities for the week.

“It’s been fun being a part of the Olympics, and it’s definitely a different vibe this week.”
He added: “It’s not very often you get to compete in the Olympics.
“So to be able to have a medal for the rest of your life would be very special.
“That’s definitely one of the reasons why I’m here this week.
“I try to place an equal amount of value to all the tournaments I play. I feel like every time I show up, I’m trying to do my best.
“It’s very special to be a part of the Olympics. I’m looking forward to the chance to compete for a medal for our country.”
The men’s Olympic golf competition will get going at Le Golf National at 8am UK time on Thursday morning.
