London - Traffic at Canary Wharf

The Traffic Light Tree, Pierre Vivant 1998

There’s probably no better sculpture conceivable that can encapsulate what it’s like to drive in London, than this one situated at Billingsgate Market under the shadow of Canary Wharf. I’ve driven inside the Arctic Circle, over mountains on and off road, through the streets of Marrakesh, Paris, Berlin, NYC… but driving here is a whole new level of crazy.

Single frame, shifted, 30 seconds. It was just round the corner from my previous upload.
