Chic, luxurious, stylish… Princess Charlene’s style is perfectly suited for the Mediterranean principality she calls home. It’s been a happier and busier year for the princess, with plenty of appearances alongside her husband and children. Let’s take a look back at some of Princess Charlene’s fashion hits this year.

National Day Stylings

I love how Princess Charlene sometimes looks like she stepped right out of the past and National Day 2024 was no exception. For the main events during the day, it was a bounce back to the 80s with a pale mauve trouser suit and matching fascinator.

Paired with this navy blue Louis Vuitton evening gown, for a night out in Monaco, Princess Charlene looks both perfectly au courant and stylishly out of time.

The Disco Royal

The Rose Ball is one of the most fashionable events on the royal calendar, and this year’s theme was Disco.

Princess Charlene didn’t disappoint, looking like a disco goddess in a long-sleeved gold-sequined Elie Saab jumpsuit—a trend, we’ll find—replete with long gold jewellery and tall heels. Fit for royalty and fit for a night out at a disco club!

Leather lady

For the opening of a new restaurant, Amazonico, in Monaco, Princess Charlene gave off rockstar vibes with black leather pants and a black tweed Akris jacket with a gold Akris silk blouse underneath.

It perfectly sums up Princess Charlene: chic and elegant with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll underneath.

Stepping out for the Red Cross Ball

With chicly-styled finger waves and an off-the-shoulder gown, Princess Charlene brought ‘30s glam to the 75th anniversary Monaco Red Cross Ball in July.

She was dressed by Louis Vuitton, and accessorised in gold.

F1 fashion hits

With the Monaco F1 Grand Prix taking place in late May, Princess Charlene attended several events to mark the iconic race’s return to the principality.

Among her style hits were a deep green Louis Vuitton jumpsuit—worn to a reception ahead of the race—and a red Louis Vuitton dress, replete with rows of crystals—worn to a gala dinner.

Going for gold

In July, ahead of the Summer Olympic Games, Princess Charlene joined her husband and niece to open an exhibit called The Olympic Flame Through the Ages at the Grimaldi Forum.

There, Prince Albert’s personal collection of 40 Olympic Torches were on display as a tribute to the spirit of the Games and to mark the centenary of his grandfather, John B. Kelly’s Olympic gold in rowing. For the event, Princess Charlene stunned in a va-va-voom Elie Saab jumpsuit, in a shade aptly named Diana Red. She accessorised with gold jewellery, a winking nod to the Olympics.
