The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series title in franchise history after defeating the New York Yankees.
While the Dodgers lineup already appears dominant on paper, they are still staying aggressive this offseason.
The Dodgers signed free agent starting pitcher Blake Snell to a five-year deal worth $182 million.
MLB Analyst Harold Reynolds revealed his thoughts on who will win the National League Cy Young Award in 2025.
“I think it’s Blake Snell,” Reynolds said via MLB Network on ‘X.’

Snell came into the league in 2016 with the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Dodgers will be his fourth different team in his tenth MLB season.
In 2023, Snell won the NL Cy Young Award with the San Diego Padres after starting 32 games and having a record of 14-9 with a 2.25 ERA and 234 strikeouts in 180.0 innings pitched.
Snell also won the American League Cy Young Award in 2018 with the Rays when he started 31 games and held a record of 21-5 with a 1.89 ERA and 221 strikeouts in 180.2 innings pitched.
Reynolds predicts that Snell will win the award once again in 2025 as he has been dominant and is now on the best team in baseball.
The Dodgers are attempting to win back-to-back World Series titles for the first time in franchise history in 2025.
If Snell can stay healthy for the 2025 season, then he should have a good chance at competing for the NL Cy Young Award.
Although the Dodgers have already made some moves this offseason, there is a good chance that they remain aggressive before the start of the 2025 season.
