President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who today in Belgrade met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, pointed out that they will discuss concrete steps to strengthen cooperation and connect economies.
“I am sure that today we will lay new foundations for even stronger ties between our peoples,” Vucic wrote on the Instagram account “buducnostsrbijeav”.
He assessed that connecting economies is the key to long-term progress.
“Welcome, dear friend Robert Fico! Your visit to Serbia will further contribute to the strengthening the friendly relations between our countries. Our bilateral cooperation, which is based on traditional ties and mutual respect, has the potential for further improvement, especially in the areas of economy, trade and investment,” stated Vucic.
Vucic expressed his gratitude to Slovakia for supporting Serbia’s EU path and for mutual understanding.
