Hardy, who opened for Morgan Wallen in Knoxville over the weekend, had a message for all those who might hold an anti-America stance.
“(Expletive) you,” he said in video captured by fans. “If you don’t like living here, then (expletive) go live somewhere else, (expletive). The United States is the greatest country on this planet. Period!”
While Hardy didn’t direct his comments to any specific person, Macklemore made headlines last week for his critical comments about America, which led to him to be dropped by a festival in Las Vegas.
“My thoughts and feelings are not always expressed perfectly or politely,” he wrote. “Sometimes I slip up and get caught in the moment.”

Hardy released a new album called Quit!! in July. He will be playing a charity concert in early October, Miranda Lambert’s Music for Mutts show in Nashville.
