POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist volleyball team has unveiled its eight new players for the upcoming 2024 season. The roster additions includes two transfers and six freshmen.
Nikki Patton | Freshman | Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist | Carlsbad, California | #5
Patton, a four-year varsity starter at Pacific Ridge School, was named a 2023 Second Team All-CIF San Diego Section selection. She also received the Coaches Award in 2022 and 2023 and was a First Team All-League selection in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Patton was honored as an All-Academic Team selection in 2020.
Jamison White | Graduate Student | Setter/Right Side | Nashville, Tennessee | #7
White joins Marist as a transfer from the University of New Hampshire, where she played four seasons. In 66 matches and 182 sets, she recorded 71 kills, 382 assists, 29 service aces, 214 digs, and 35 total blocks. At UNH, White was named to the 2022 America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the National College Athlete Honor Society.
Eden Bristow | Freshman | Outside Hitter/Opposite | Ottawa, Ontario | #8
Bristow played four years at St. Peter Catholic High School, contributing to a City Championship in 2022-23 and a second-place City finish in 2021-22.
Sara Dasic | Sophomore | Outside Hitter | Lazarevac, Serbia | #9
Dasic transfers from Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she competed in 15 matches and 42 sets in 2023. She recorded 107 kills, 345 attacks, nine service aces, and nine blocks.
Sarah Bumstead | Freshman | Right Side/Middle Hitter | Waterloo, Ontario | #10
Bumstead was a four-year varsity athlete in volleyball, cross country, and track and field at Laurel Heights Secondary School. She was named the school’s Senior Athlete of the Year, received the School Spirit and Athletic Leadership Award, and was a Provincial Club All-Star. Bumstead also represented Team Ontario and was named to the OVA 2023 All-Star Team. She received the Evelyn Holick Award for leadership, dedication, and excellence.
Gabby Flamish | Freshman | Outside Hitter/Right Side | Ashburn, Virginia | #13
Flamish played three years of volleyball at Stone Bridge High School, where she was a District and 2021 State Champion. She earned All-District and All-Region team awards and served as National Honor Society President and SCA Officer. Flamish also received the Student Athlete Academic Excellence Award.
Savannah Smith | Freshman | Middle Blocker | San Antonio, Texas | #18
Smith played varsity volleyball as a freshman and sophomore at Los Fresnos High School before transferring to Cornerstone Christian Schools. There, she competed in varsity indoor and sand volleyball during her junior and senior years. Smith was involved in the Distributive Education Clubs of America, National Honor Society, 4-H, TPUSA, and CUFI.
Taylor Miller | Freshman | Outside Hitter/Right Side | Haworth, New Jersey | #22
Miller was a four-year varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track at Northern Valley Demarest High School. She was named to the AVCA 2023 Best & Brightest First Team and was on the NVDHS Honor Roll in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Miller was also a member of the NVDHS Leadership Club.
 

The Red Foxes look ahead to the start of the 2024 season. Marist is set to begin its season on the road at Old Dominion on Aug. 30.
