ITA – Full Women’s List
Tempe, Ariz. – The North Carolina Central University men’s and women’s tennis teams were recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as Division I All-Academic Teams for the 2023-24 season.
The criteria for receiving ITA All-Academic Team honors include a team grade point average of 3.2 or above. In 2024, 176 men’s programs and 255 women’s programs earned this team distinction.
Additionally, eleven Eagles were named ITA Scholar-Athletes meeting the requirement of a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
The five ITA Scholar-Athletes from the men’s team are Leo Fortier-Gariepy, Lucas Artigas, Naresh Bharathy, Neiman Sneed and Oliver Saarinen. The same feat was achieved by Candice Bernier, Gabriela Mejia Arenas, Isabelle Exsted, Kennedy Hill, Maria Picazo Martin and Patricia Palencia from the women’s team.
