July 7 – Inter Milan are moving swiftly under their new ownership and have renewed their sponsorship with bank BPER for a further two seasons and added naming rights to the club’s training centre.
Designated as the club’s Official Banking Partner, the club will also rename its training centre in Appiano Gentile to the BPER Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti.
The bank will also take the Training Kit Sleeve patch with its logo featured on the men’s and women’s first team training kits, as well as on the sleeve of pre-match kits in domestic competitions.
“We are very proud and happy to be able to continue this agreement with BPER thanks to our links with Mastercard two companies who are leaders in their respective fields,” said Alessandro Antonello, Corporate CEO of FC Internazionale Milano.
“Having the opportunity to develop this collaboration is evidence of the huge amount of work we have done in this firstyear, and of Inter’s value to big players outside of the world of sport.”
BPER became involved with Inter in 2018 on the back of the club’s relationship with Mastercard and the relationship has focused on offering exclusive and unique Inter-themed experiences to consumers, fans, and Mastercard cardholders.
Under the new agreement BPER will offer a limited edition prepaid card by Mastercard to celebrate Inter’s Serie A win last season, the club’s 20th overall which generated a second star. In a nod to the club’s history, only 1908 copies (the year the club was formed) will be issued.
BPER will also have increases exposure at matches played at the San Siro and feature on pitchside LED boards.
